Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Exterminator to help eliminate pests and vermin from residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest control methods, including the application of chemical solutions and the use of traps. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply or release chemical solutions, toxic gases, and baits in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Set traps and utilize other pest control methods to effectively eliminate pests and vermin.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed, pest sightings, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control practices.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control technologies, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in pest management or a related field is a plus.
- Valid pest control license or certification as required by state or local regulations.
- Proven experience as an Exterminator or in a similar pest control role.
- Strong knowledge of pest biology, behavior, and control methods.
- Ability to safely handle and apply chemical agents and traps.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
